Street snapshots!

Sophia tasting a delicious street samosa with hot sauce, yum!

A fruit seller at the Ahmedabad bus stand. She had some stripey melons for sale which turned out to taste like honeydew melon. Maybe a different indian species?

Miriam chillin out in the courtyard of a restaurant. We had just visited the fort in Jodhpur and were re-hydrating in this place hidden away in the narrow street maze of the old city...

  1. Great pics guys, lovely to see the street scenes. And I'm glad you found the caves fascinating - it sounds like you spent much more time there than I did. Man you are covering some territory - Ahmedabad, Jodhpur - and is Jaipur next? It's hard work as well as wonderful, travelling in India. So often, visiting a place you have been looking forward to can also involve extreme heat, tiredness, illness or too many hawkers. You are probably looking forward to your meditation retreat.
    Lots of love, Terry

  2. Hey Terry,
thanks for the comments, we're having a great time in Jodhpur. The constant moving around has been a bit much so we're just going to stay here for the next three days. I'm sitting in a cool internet cafe, re-hydrating, while the girls are enjoying some shopping in the local markets around the clock tower. This area is by far the most romantic with its maze of little medieval streets. Cheers, Jo
